Self-guided tours around Vista launches first episode about historical and arts district

Vista Made Tours, a free podcast series focused on self-guided tours featuring popular arts, historical and cultural destinations within the City of Vista, launched today with Episode 1:  Downtown Vista’s Arts & Historical District.

 The podcast is available on iTunes, Spotify or wherever listeners get their podcasts.  The show also is available at VistaMadeTours.com

 In Episode 1, the tour highlights Downtown Vista’s extensive public art scene, including punk art installations, Kites over Vista sculptures and historical murals.  More than a dozen interviews about Downtown’s eclectic range of businesses also are featured throughout the 1-hour narrated trek that encompasses a 1-mile loop.

 Additional episodes are under production focused on Vista’s popular craft beer, spirits and wine makers, and other dining, art and music venues.

 The Vista Made program features innovative businesses and entrepreneurs based in Vista, Calif. The program includes video stories, podcasts and events sponsored by the City of Vista as part of its proactive outreach to support local businesses recovering from the pandemic crisis.
